Eleven ships laden with petroleum products had arrive at the
lagos ports weekend, the Nigerian Port Authority NPA said. This is contained in
‘shipping position,’ a daily publication of NPA. It said that the vessels conveyed kerosine, petrol and base oil,
adding that two other ships with rice consignment had also sailed into the
ports.
The publication also started that 37 ships were being
expected at the ports from April 30 to May 23. According to it, 13 of the ships
will sail into the port with food items including rice, buckwheat, bulk sugar,
frozen fish and salt. It disclosed that containers were expected to be brought
in my 12 ships, while seven others would berth at the port with general cargo. It
added that the five other ships would arrive at the ports with petroleum
products, which would include petrol and diesel.
