Liverpool Rejects Manchester City's 25 Million Euro Bid For Sterling

English Football Club Liverpool rejects 25million Euro bid offered on Raheem Sterling, who said he wants to leave the club and go to a club that can offer him Champions League. Following this Liverpool's Manager Brendan Rodgers refused transfer and says the team needs him to renew his contract

At the end of the season when England young-star Sterling said he wasn't going to stay, and scheduled a meeting between himself with his manager Aidy Ward who said there was no way Raheem Sterling would extend his contract with the club. The club manager had to cancel the meeting and placed the winger in the substitution in the match against Stoke.
Manchester City placed a bid of 25 million Euro and an add-on of 5million Euro but Rodgers is not willing to sell out the young-star. Other English clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal has showed interest in offering a bid for sterling. It is believed that Liverpool manager Rodgers might accept a bid of 50million Euro for the young star
The refusal of Raheem Sterling to re-new his contract with the club has angered the club's supporters, who jeered him at the end of season awards dinner.
