 After reclaiming his status as the fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt says he wants to cement a legend status on the track.
The victory for Bolt will be an undoubted boost for a sport which has spent three weeks locked in a public relations crisis, after allegations of widespread doping among athletes.
Jamaican Usain Bolt Looking To Cement A ‘Legend Status’Bolt, the reigning Olympic champion and world record holder, has now not been beaten in the 100m or 200m in six major Global Championships going back to 2007.
In a time of 9.79 seconds Usain Bolt the fastest athlete beat Justin Gatlin to the 100m title at the World Athletics Championship in Beijing .
He told the BBC that the “win means a lot because I’ve been struggling all season and I was having problems with my start. I knew I had to put all that behind me and just drive”.
